here´s what my
students have to say:
[amazing guidance]
"javier went above and beyond to ensure that i was equipped with the necessary tools to ensure my success in this industry. With him I was able to achieve artistic goals I had set for myself but wouldn’t have been able to accomplish on my own. If given the chance, I would choose him again because I know that no matter what, there is always something new that can be learnt from him."
Miriam benito
[friendly and challenging]
"Working with javier showed me how to get that magic touch and make my props stand out. There were definitely some challenging moments where he pushed me beyond what I thought I could handle, but I’m honestly really grateful for that. I love the friendly vibe created during the cohort and his constant care for everyone. I felt like I was a part of a community that pushes each other to get better, wich really helped. The system was very well thought out and made everything smooth."
[a truly special experience]
"the experience with javier has always been very high quality, every explanation has been thorough and he was always there to help us when we needed it. it has been a truly special experience, especially since javier has made us feel more like project partners than students of his. for me, this has been something that helped me grow a lot, from a professional to a more personal level."
andreu carrasquet
[flexible and personal]
"Studying with Javier has been one of the best academic experiences I've ever had. From the very first minute, he teaches you how things are done in a game studio, covering everything from workflows to discipline. his classes are also very flexible, and He tries to get to know his students and adapt to them in order to bring out their potential. It's not just about the knowledge either; Javier treated us extremely well. After working with him, i feel fully prepared to start working in a real studio!"
rodrigo gil
[fun and rewarding]
"Recognizing the importance of both effective and efficient problem-solving in a real production environment, one of the core principles of Javier’s mentoring is keeping everything real-time. During his classes, Javier sets a brilliant example of an artist who does everything it takes to not only solve the problem at hand, but also improve on the initial idea and go beyond any preliminary expectations, even if it requires diving into the fields of knowledge far beyond his core expertise."
Nikita Kravchenko
[a one-of-a-kind experience]
"javier has a personal approach and care for each individual student. He is always open to communication; with kindness and compassion, he approached conversations and understood the limitations, both artistic and those that come from the personal situations one might find themselves in. if I needed help at any given point, I knew I could rely on his patience and empathy. I can confidently say I had a one-of-a-kind, lifetime experience. In the end, when I didn’t believe in myself, he did, and that was all it took to get me to where I currently stand."
anastasija stević
[a very important person in my journey]
"I believe that the person who guides your first steps on any journey holds a special place in your story.the foundation you lay early on is crucial, as It shapes and hold everything that comes after. I had the chance to meet Javi at a time when I was feeling quite lost in my life. He became more than just a teacher. He was a guide, a mentor, and a friend who helped me find direction and confidence when I needed it most. javier became a mirror that reflected the potential i may have not yet seen in myself, which helped me greatly."
marius dinca
[a toolkit to overcome problems]
"What I particularly liked about Javier's teaching method was that he didn't just pass on a series of techniques that I could apply to one or two scenarios. Instead, he provided a holistic approach and a toolkit to overcome problems. These form the many layers of a good artist's attitude - moral, perceptual, logical, conceptual, and countless other things that turn a student into a survivor in this difficult profession. He doesn't teach routines for hypothetical textbook situations but encourages critical thinking, self-criticism, and problem-solving."
Mark Csikos
[human, open and social]
"The way Javier structured complex 3D content in areas that can be overwhelming made learning smooth and digestible. during the heaviest weeks of material, his teaching style helped us not only stay afloat, but motivated and curious. Despite studying in an online setting, Javi fostered real interaction among us, and our classroom felt human, open, and social. That digital barrier quickly dissolved, and the experience turned into something deeper; lasting friendships, and a sense of belonging and shared growth."

**Full Mentor Guidance - The full package, personalized for the needs of each individual. During working hours, I will be 100% available to discuss your current issues, problem-solve with you, or provide progress feedback amongst any of the other needs you may have as a student. In short, my availability is fully dedicated to your needs, whatever those may be.
-
live sessions for all tiers will be held from 9:30 - 11:30am CET (cest during summer time), monday to friday. assistance is not mandatory but heavily recommended for questions, technical help and real-time collaboration. private recordings for the classes will be provided for all students for both tiers, and groups will be set up for full tier students to collaborate in team-working simulation exercises of varying types.
